PENGURUSAN Danaharta Nasional Bhd has announced the launch of the first specific tender, as part of a series of specific tenders planned for this year, offering 82 properties for sale on an ''as-is-where-is'' basis.

Head of property division Myrzela Sabtu said in a statement the offer started yesterday and would close at 5pm on Feb 17.

She said most of the properties in this specific tender were being offered for the first time, except for seven properties, which had been offered in previous tenders.

''Our aim is to sell as many properties as we can before we wind down our operations at the end of this year,'' she said.

The properties offered in the tenders are in the residential, industrial, commercial, retail, development and agricultural land categories.

Myrzela said the properties were strategically located within Peninsular Malaysia but were mostly concentrated in the growth areas of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Pulau Pinang.

''Interested parties, especially developers, should check out the land offered in this portfolio. Many of these properties are strategically located residential and development land which are perfect for developers looking to expand into the residential sector,'' she said.

Each tender package contains a tender form, a valuation report of the property, the terms and conditions of sale by tender, a sample of the sale and purchase agreement and a copy of the foreign investment committee guidelines. Specific tenders form part of Danaharta’s efforts to dispose of properties via the market.
