Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Bhd, which has successfully received bids for 21 properties in its specific tender, will sell them for RM29.46mil.
In a statement yesterday, Danaharta said the tender, held earlier this year, was part of a series of specific property tenders planned for this year in an effort to dispose of the units via the market.
It said the total sales value of RM29.46mil for the 21 properties was equivalent to 92% of the total indicative value (IV) of the properties.
Danaharta said the tender originally involved 82 properties with a total IV of RM209.7mil, of which 21 properties were later withdrawn.
A total of 61 properties were finally offered, comprising 54 new properties (total IV: RM79.6mil) and seven unsold properties from previous tenders (total IV: RM33.5mil).
Danaharta said through the specific tenders, it aimed at disposing of all the properties in a timely and structured manner, with the objective of maximising recovery value from the non-performing loans secured by these properties
